Career possibilities at New Dream: getting the ball rolling

I've mentioned previously that I'm interested in working for the Center for a New American Dream. Recently, my friend S., who knows someone there, passed the word along to them about my interest. I wasn't expecting to start working on this goal so soon, but I'm grateful to S. for mentioning it to them and getting the ball rolling - it's just the kick in the pants that I needed to prevent me from procrastinating. I followed up with a couple of emails to New Dream staffers, and now I have a phone appointment to talk with one of them next week about their current hiring situation!
